Objectives:
To offer a practical introduction to real-time multimedia in packet networks,
and more specifically IP networks. The course will introduce transmission
protocols used for the delivery of real-time multimedia as well as the protocols
responsible for the setup, maintenance and release of the communication
sessions.
Practicals will reinforce and demonstrate the content discussed in lectures.
