The Remote Wireless Multipoint Control for Digital Mixing Consoles

The Problem

Digital mixing consoles provide a multitude of features to audio engineers. The need for these consoles to be placed in out-of-the-way areas makes it difficult for engineers to adequately control over the console while remaining mobile. Although control systems are available, a wireless multipoint control system for these consoles does not currently exist.

Goals

This project aims to provide insight into currently available digital mixing consoles as well as available remote control systems for these consoles. The project also provides the cross-platform design and implementation for a system capable of providing wireless control from multiple sources for multiple digital mixing consoles.
