Overview
This is an Computer Science Honours project that is aimed to automate lecture attendance. This website will keep you up to date with the progress and current state of the project.
Three main areas:
- Daily Capture
- Matching
- Validation
This project focuses on the Daily Capture aspect and attempts to isolate students faces, build a cluster of each student and pass each cluster to the Matching step

Completed:
- 1st Seminar
- Still and Video Capture of classroom
- Basic recognition using OpenCV Haarcascades (Viola-Jones variation)
