- Experiments, Testing, Debugging. At this moment of the implementation of our AI system, I am actually testing my program in a real environment. I am trying to get all the robot's dependent variables in my code to be conviniently set-up.
- Coding. I am doing a lot of coding in order to get a brief implementation of my design model.
- Optimizing the model. At this point, I have a standing draft of my code, and I am just adding all the pieces needed to complete the implementation or at least sufficient to produce a working solution.
- This is exam period for Honours students, so my project is taking a nap.
- Now that exams are finish, I am back to my code, and I am implementing all heuristics needed by the robot for the mapping.
- At this stage, I have an idea the structure of my approach and how its implementation will be done.
- I have started the implementation of my cognitive mapping approach.
- Exploring different cognitive approaches to spatial mapping, their strengths and their weaknesses. Additionally, I am getting familiar with the Lego NXT.
